EDITORIAL INTERNS
Duties may include updating weekly calendars
and organization listings for publication,
generating story ideas, and writing news
briefs and community news stories. Additional,
longer writing assignments are also possible
based on skills and interests. A major in
journalism or English is helpful but not
required.
The positions require daytime availability
(between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m.), but hours are
flexible within that time period. A minimum
commitment of 10 hours per week is needed.
The internships are unpaid, but supervision
for course credit is possible.
